mabauchi

In its desire to ensure smooth operation of soon to be commenced home grown school feeding program, the Bauchi State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Mohammed Abubakar (Makama Babba) has approved the engagement of three commercial banks to undertake biometric capturing and BVN enrollment of selected food vendors.

The banks are:

1. Union Bank Plc: Bauchi South
2. United Bank for Africa (UBA): Bauchi Central
3. First City Monument Bank Plc

This is in line with the provisions of implementation manual of National Home Grown School Feeding Programme which requires the States to design and implement a state-specific School Feeding Programme and manage the entire value chain of the programme.

The successful Banks were issued with engagement letters and are expected to sign memorandum of understanding with BASG (represented by office of State Focal Person, Social Investment Programme)

Applicants and members of the public are advised to wait for further announcement on the report of applications screening exercise and deployment of banks to various Local Government Areas of the State for BVN and biometric capturing.
