Bauchi State Government to the Partner United States African Development Foundation on Development Projects
Earlier this morning in Abuja, a meeting was held between officials of the Bauchi State Government and officials from Washington based United States African Development Foundation. A strategic partnership in Agriculture, Energy, Youth Enterprise and key Development Projects was discussed between the two parties and a special team of experts and officials of the foundation are expected to visit the State soon so as to sign the partnership with His Excellency the Governor early December.
The United States African Development Foundation (USADF) is an independent U.S. Government agency established by Congress to support African-owned enterprises which improve lives in communities in Africa. Their foreign assistance in Africa is an investment in local economic development for peace and security today and prosperous U.S. trading partners tomorrow.
The foundation’s team was headed by Team leader; Tom Coogan- Regional Director African Development Foundation, Andrew Echono – Country Program Coordinator and Ellington Arnold – Program Analyst.
The Bauchi State Government’s team was headed by Hon. Ibrahim Bala Hassan and assisted by Mr. Mamman, Bauchi State liaison officer, Abuja.
